OPEN 7 DAYS!

Experience history from the Stone Age to the Space Age at the Flagler Beach Historical Museum. Our motto explains why the museum is so popular with visitors of multiple interests. Begin with prehistoric bones and fast forward to dehydrated astronaut food and a flag that rode the Shuttle Endeavour into space. Visit our quaint museum of Flagler Beach and Flagler County history Monday-Sunday, 10am-4pm. Or stop by the first Friday of each month when we remain open until 9pm to celebrate Flagler Beach’s First Friday featuring music, games, food, and fun in Veterans Park, just steps away from the museum doors. Save the Date: April 8th, 2017

Plans are underway for our 4th Annual Cheer at the Pier! scheduled for April 8, 2017. To make the event even more special, this year we’ll be celebrating 100 years of history as we commemorate the Flagler County Centennial 1917-2017.
Adding to the festivities and theme, historical re-enactors will be roaming the Flagler Beach Pier as guests mingle, and sample food, wine and beer from local restaurants, while enjoying the ocean breezes and amazing ocean vistas.
The April 8th date is planned, pending repairs due to hurricane damage on the Pier, which will give us one more thing to celebrate!

Cheer at the Pier was Fantastic!

Thank you to everyone who celebrated our 15th Anniversary with us at the 3rd Annual Cheer at the Pier! We sipped and sampled under the sun with a background of live music, surf and sea breezes … and those were some pretty mighty “sea breezes"!

Love History? People? - Volunteer!

We are now looking for DOCENTS to help greet our guests and answer questions about the area. Located just half a block from the Pier, learn at your leisure all about Flagler Beach and Flagler County, share your new knowledge with visitors, and then learn more from area residents as they share their stories with you.

Work on your own, or alongside other docents, or join as a team with a spouse or a friend. Shifts are flexible but are usually 3 hours. Choose from 10am-1pm or 1pm to 4pm Monday through Saturday, or an occasional evening or Sunday. Join us for just three hours a month or a couple times a week.
